Shahbaz Sharif has said PML(N) will table resolution in NA for restoration of Bahawalpur province.

Punjab Chief Minister, Shahbaz Sharif has said that PML(N) will soon table a resolution in the National Assembly regarding restoration of Bahawalpur province.He was addressing a big gathering of national and provincial assembly members of Bahawalpur Division, PML-N office-bearers and notables at Circuit House Bahawalpur. He said that the by bringing resolution about Bahawalpur province, federal government could be forced to take steps in this regard. He said this resolution will prove that who is liar and who is true.Shahbaz Sharif said that he congratulates to people of Bahawalpur on behalf of Mian Nawaz Sharif and 100 million people of Punjab. The Chief Minister said it has been stated in the resolution presented in the provincial assembly for restoration of Bahawalpur province that the people are struggling for it for a long time.He said that this demand is not for a new province but for the restoration of former province and it has its administrative, geographical and constitutional status. He said it is the opinion of the House that the former province should be restored. The Chief Minister disclosed that in the second resolution approved by the Punjab Assembly, it has been stated that federal government should constitute a commission for creation of new provinces keeping in view the geographical, political, administrative and historical position of the areas for setting up new provinces including South Punjab, FATA, Hazara and other areas of Pakistan.
