Pneumonia claims lives of 13 more children in Punjab
Smog and harsh weather conditions worsen situation with 320 new cases
LAHORE (Dunya News) - Pneumonia continues to claim innocent lives, with 13 more children succumbing to the illness in Punjab.
The province, including capital city Lahore, is grappling with smog and cold weather, exacerbating the health crisis.
In the last 24 hours, Punjab reported a staggering 320 new pneumonia cases, bringing the total number of cases in the province to 12,245.
Tragically, the toll of the pneumonia outbreak has been particularly devastating for children as 13 young lives have been lost across Punjab. In Lahore, two children lost their battle with pneumonia. The overall death toll in the province now stands at 283.
