(Web Desk) – A fake picture about trees planted in the middle of a road in Peshawar has gone viral, and also has been tweeted by a private newspaper analyst.

The picture has been uploaded on Twitter saying: “A unique road of Abshar Colony Warsak Road Tekhal Payan Peshawar. The unique road has allegedly been constructed by a PTI MPA”.

The false claim was retweeted by a private newspaper analyst who expressed that the incumbent government of KP Chief Minister Mahmood Khan has presented a new “proud” project after the BRT project. “Naya Pakistan will have roads like these ones now,” he added.

The viral picture actually belongs to Utter Pradesh, India. Dr Poonam Chauhan took to Twitter in 2018, and mocked the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) saying that Konsa in India is the first state to have trees in the middle of roads.
