Pushpa 2: The Rule sets to release next year
(Web Desk) - The much anticipated "Pushpa 2: The Rule," the follow-up to the 2021 movie "Pushpa: The Rise," is scheduled to open in theatres on August 15, 2024.
"Pushpa: The Rise," the first movie, was well-received and won the National Awards for Best Actor and Best Music Director.
The successful franchise's production firm, Mythri Movie Makers, announced the news on social media. The cast of "Pushpa 2," which was directed by Sukumar, will include Rashmika Mandanna as Molleti Srivalli and Fahadh Faasil as SP Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat.
When "Pushpa: The Rise" was released in December 2021, the movie business was struggling to draw people back into theatres. The movie significantly contributed to reviving interest in theatres.
The red sandalwood mafia serves as the central theme of "Pushpa" and takes place in the 1990s. It includes a romantic subplot with Srivalli, played by Rashmika Mandanna, and tracks Pushpa's ascent inside the world of smuggling.
At the film's conclusion, Pushpa and SP Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat, played by Fahadh Faasil, engage in a dramatic encounter. As Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat promised to exact revenge on Pushpa, this cliffhanger conclusion left viewers hungry to find out what would transpire next.
Allu Arjun will make his big-screen comeback in "Pushpa 2" after an absence of more than two years, thanks to the popularity of the first installment in the franchise. The compelling story's continuance is eagerly awaited by fans.
