Ranveer, Sara promote upcoming action film 'Simmba' in Mumbai

The film is a remake of the 2015 Telugu language film, 'Temper'.

(Reuters) - The cast and crew of Bollywood’s upcoming action-comedy film, ‘Simmba’, promoted the movie, on Wednesday in India’s showbiz capital, Mumbai.

To match up with the energy that everybody had on the sets was so tricky, said actress Sara Ali Khan, who plays the lead cop character’s love interest in the film.

Actors Ranveer Singh, Sara Ali Khan, Sonu Sood along with star filmmaker, Rohit Shetty were present during the event to promote the film.

The film which is a remake of the 2015 Telugu language film, ‘Temper’, casts Singh as the lead actor and Sood will be seen playing the antagonist in the film.

The movie which is set to hit the theatres on December 28 tells the story of a corrupt cop turned into a saviour, after a personal tragedy due to a rotten system.

The film will also feature cameos from popular actor, Ajay Devgn who will be reprising his role of a righteous-heroic cop from another film from a parallel franchise, ‘Singham’.
