Linkin Park singer Chester Bennington, 41, committed suicide on July 20, 2017

(Web Desk) - Los Angeles police on Thursday confirmed that Chester Bennington had hanged himself at his private residence in an L.A. County. His body was found before 9 AM. The diseased singer was married to Talinda Bentley. His offspring includes six children from two wives.

Chester once admitted that he had contemplated committing suicide because he had been abused as a child at the hand of an older male. On top of that, the singer struggled with drugs and alcohol for years. Chester had wrote an open letter to Chris on Chris’ suicide day.

Chester’s suicide is a continuation of tragic incidents involving artistes committing suicides. In May, one of Chester’s closest friends, Chris Cornell, the former lead vocalist for the rock bands Soundgarden and Audioslave, also committed suicide by hanging.

Chester’s band Linkin Park has had a compendium of hits over the years, including “Numb”, “In the End” and “Crawling”. These songs, sung passionately by Chester, will forever remain glued to our eardrums.

The band s album "Meteroa" was one of the biggest alternative albums in music history.
