NEW DELHI (Daily Dunya) - Indian legendary singer Asha Bhosle will have her wax statue at Madame Tussauds in New Delhi along with other actors and singers.

According to Indian media, a team of the Madame Tussauds met Asha Bhosle to discuss the matter.



“Thank you to Madame Tussauds and my fans for considering me for this incredible honour. Having a wax figure is a completely ecstatic feeling and it’s a new experience for me. This is the first time I have undergone a sitting and I must thank them for making it a unique and exciting experience,” the singer said.



Asha has been awarded the honour by Guinness Book of World Records as the most recorded artist in music history while she also received Dadasaheb Phalke Award in 2000 and Padma Vibhushan in 2008.
