Actress, sports anchor Sonika Chauhan passes away in car crash
The model-actress had posted a photo on Twitter before her accident
(Web Desk) – Indian model and actress Sonika Chauhan has passed away in a road accident.
She was travelling in a car with her friend and actor Vikram Chatterjee. The car hit a divider and climbed the pavement on Rashbehari Avenue.

People nearby immediately heard a loud noise of car crash. The people rushed to the spot and brought Sonika and Vikram out of their car.
The two were taken to a hospital for medical treatment. Sonika Chauhan succumbed to injuries and was pronounced dead by the doctors as soon as she was brought to the hospital.
On the other hand, Vikram Chatterjee survived the fatal accident and sustained head injuries. He remains admitted at the hospital for treatment.
Sonika has worked as a top model and sports anchor. She was known for ad photo shoots.
