The lead cast of Yalghaar includes Shaan Shahid, Ayesha Omar, Humayun Saeed, Adnan Siddiqui, Goher Rasheed and Armeena Rana Khan. Interestingly, the film also features renowned journalist/anchor Sana Bucha in a role.

The film happens to be Pakistan’s most expensive movie and precedes Waar which was also produced by Hassan Waqar Rana.

At the launching event of the movie trailer, the director said, “ISPR didn’t have money but they said they could give us guns. But I wanted stories. I wanted to feel what soldiers feel when they stands on the front-line.”

While responding to a question, Rana discouraged ban on Bollywood films in Pakistan and said that it was their responsibility to make good Pakistani films. “With a cast like this, we can face any competition,” he added.

He dedicated the movie to Pakistan and told that the love with nation inspired him to go ahead with the mega project. The movie will release all across Pakistan apart from 50 other countries.
