Lahore: Little stars shine bright at the National Child Art Competition

(Dunya News) – Lahore hosted a grand art competition for children from all across the country.

On the seventh edition of National Child Art Competition and Exhibition, children displayed their colourful work on the themes of ‘My Dream’, ‘My Likes’, ‘My City’ and ‘My Village’.

Enthusiastic children from various schools participated in this competition where they displayed their drawings, paintings and art work.

Organised by ArtBeat, which has been working since 2012 to promote visual arts in children, young participants took part in the competition from cities including Lahore, Sarghoda, Fasialabad and other parts of the country.

The organisation has been working with the aim of promoting arts in children to understand the issues they face from their perspective, and to celebrate child artists.

Using their imagination and creativity, every child drew on their favourite subject.

Speaking to Dunya News, children from various schools said that they enjoyed the competition while the winners of the exhibition said they received appreciation from not only their friends but also their teachers. Prizes were also distributed among the children.
