GUJRANWALA (Dunya New) – Two suspected outlaws were killed and five injured by the firing of their own accomplices during police ‘encounters’ here on Wednesday.
Police officials said during an alleged police encounter in Baghbanpura, accused Nazim alias Naji was killed, and drugs were recovered from the possession of the deceased accused.
Dangerous inter-district robber Shahzeb was killed in the area of Ladhewala police station. Shahzeb was complicit in more than 25 criminal cases.
Police officials further said that during other operations, five suspects were arrested while injured.
Police officials said a search was ongoing for the escaped accomplices of the deceased suspects, who will be taken into custody soon. The injured have been shifted to the hospital for medical treatment.
