RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) - A monetary dispute between a shop owner and his former employee claimed life of the latter here on Monday.
Shop owner Umair allegedly killed his former employee identified as Haider when he demanded his outstanding Rs300. According to the police, the shop owner and his employee were also relatives.
A few days ago, the victim had quit the job in the shop and he came to his former employer to take his pending amount, which led to a scuffle. During the fight, accused Umair attacked Haider with a knife and killed him with repeated strikes of the weapon.
Having being informed, police reached the crime scene and started investigation after sending the dead body to hospital for medicolegal formalities. The accused escaped after the incident.
