KARACHI (Dunya News) – Suspected robbers killed a woman during robbery in Soldier Bazaar here on Thursday night.
The woman was identified as Yasmin, 57. Having being informed, police reached the crime scene and started investigation after shifting the dead body to hospital.
According to police, dacoits opened an indiscriminate fire while fleeing after robbery. A bullet hit in the head of the woman who died on the spot.
Police recorded statements from eyewitnesses and collected forensic evidence to reach out to the robbers. Police cordoned off the area and launched a manhunt for the fleeing dacoits.
The area people expressed indignation over the incident and demanded the law enforcers to step up security to protect life and property of people.
