Summary Police claim that their own accomplices killed them during shootouts
GUJRANWALA (Dunya News) – Two suspected murderers were killed allegedly by their own accomplices during an ‘encounter’ with police here on Wednesday.
Two murder suspects identified as Mustafa and Yasir were being escorted by police to an area for the recovery of murder weapons when their accomplices hiding roadside opened fire on the police in order to get them freed from police custody.
During the shootout, the under custody suspects were killed from the firing of their own accomplices, police claimed.
The suspects had gunned down a woman and her daughter and wanted by police. Accused Mustafa had hired Yasir to kill his wife and her daughter.
Police were conducting raids to arrest their accomplices, who escaped after the encounter.
