KARACHI (Dunya News) – Police claimed to have arrested 10 suspected outlaws including five injured after ‘encounters’ in different areas here on Sunday.
New Karachi Industrial Area Police arrested three suspects, including two injured, after an exchange of fire with drug dealers near Khamisa Goth and recovered weapons, cash, and drugs from their possession.
Meanwhile, Pakistan Bazaar police, while patrolling in Gulshan-e-Zia, signalled suspicious people riding motorcycles to stop, but they did comply with police order and opened fire. Police retaliated and injured and two suspected outlaws. Weapons, stolen goods, and a motorcycle were recovered from their possession.
Orangi Town Police arrested a suspect in an injured condition after an alleged encounter near Sector 6E, while his accomplice managed to escape from the scene. Police recovered weapons, stolen goods and a motorcycle from the suspect’s possession.
Sachal Police arrested a four-member gang involved in several incidents of looting during an operation in Sher Khan Goth. During the initial investigation, the four suspects arrested revealed their involvement in dozens of street crimes. Weapons, stolen goods, and cash were recovered from the suspects.
