FIA arrests the suspects on their arrival at Karachi airport
KARACHI (Dunya News) – FIA claimed to have arrested four persons at Jinnah International Airport for allegedly begging during their stay in Saudi Arabia, Dunya News reported here on Tuesday.
According to an FIA spokesperson, the suspects were identified as Rashid Ahmed, Inayat, Inayati and Huzur Mai.
They were tracked down on their arrival in Pakistan from Jeddah. They belonged to Multan and Lahore.
According to the FIA, the passengers were stopped and questioned in detail on suspicion. They went to Saudi Arabia on an Umrah visa and were involved in illegal activity of begging during their stay.
According to the FIA spokesperson, they have traveled to Saudi Arabia several times to beg. During the search, currencies of various countries were recovered from the accused.
According to the FIA, the recovered currency includes Saudi Riyals, UAE dirhams, euros and Pakistani rupees. Further legal action is being taken against the four passengers.
