KARACHI (Dunya News) - In a series of coordinated operations, the Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) recovered 21 kilograms of illegal drugs and arrested six suspects across five separate raids, officials confirmed.
ANF spokesperson stated, the operations were conducted in Lahore, Karachi, Islamabad, and Multan, targeting major drug trafficking networks.
During the raids, authorities seized 20.2 kilograms of hashish and 850 grams of crystal methamphetamine (“ice”), highlighting the significant scale of narcotics smuggling in the country.
ANF seizes over 50kg drugs in nationwide crackdown
Legal cases have been registered against the arrested individuals under the Control of Narcotic Substances Act 1997, and investigations are ongoing to trace the origin and distribution channels of the seized drugs.
Officials emphasized that such operations demonstrate ANF’s continued commitment to combating drug trafficking and ensuring public safety across Pakistan.
