10 robbers injured, nabbed after 'encounters' in Karachi

KARACHI (Dunya News) – Police claimed to have arrested 13 suspected robbers – 10 of them in an injured condition – after ‘shootouts’ in different areas of the city here on Wednesday.

In the first incident, Sachal Police arrested three suspects, including two injured, after an ‘encounter’ near Saadi Town. Weapons, stolen goods, and a motorcycle were recovered from the possession of the arrested suspects.

Ittehad Town Police arrested two suspects in an injured condition after an ‘exchange’ of fire and recovered weapons and a motorcycle from their possession.

Khawaja Ajmer Nagri Police arrested two suspects, including an injured, after an alleged encounter in Sector B-3/5, and recovered weapons, mobile phones, and a motorcycle from the suspects.

After an alleged encounter near Mirza Adam Khan Road in Lyari, two suspects, including an injured, were arrested and weapons, mobile phones, and a motorcycle were recovered from their possession.

Garden Police arrested three suspects, including two injured, after an alleged exchange of fire near Dhobi Ghat. Weapons, stolen goods and a motorcycle were recovered from the possession of the arrested suspects.

Khawaja Ajmer Nagri Police arrested a suspected outlaw in an injured condition and recovered weapons after an ‘exchange’ of fire near Sector 5A/3.

Near Bismillah Colony, Quaidabad Police captured a suspect in an injured condition, while the suspect's accomplice managed to escape while firing. Weapons were recovered from the possession of the arrested suspect.
