KARACHI (Dunya News) - In a bizarre turn of events, an alleged robber was lynched by an angry mob after an incident of robbery, which claimed life of a citizen in Orangi Town here on Tuesday.
West SSP took notice of the tragic incident and suspended Orangi Town SHO, and registered a case against 30 people in the lynching case. Raids were being conducted to arrest the nominated suspects.
According to eye witnesses, robbers during a robbery gunned down a citizen identified as Abdul Mannan. Nearby people caught a robber and gave him a good thrashing before burning.
He was taken to hospital in a critical condition where he succumbed to his burns. Further investigation was underway.
