Robber, drug traffickers arrested in Karachi, 50 held in dance party raid in Islamabad
PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – CTD police claimed to have tracked down two terror facilitators in an operation conducted in Miran Shah of North Waziristan District on Wednesday night.
The suspects have been identified as Yaram Jan and Latif. They were involved in facilitating terrorism activities in in Data Khel Bazaar. A suicide bomber had targeted police and security personnel. The suspects were wanted in cases of terrorism, attempted murder and murder.
50 ARRESTED IN DANCE PARTY RAID
Islamabad: Police arrested 50 people allegedly drunk in a raid on a dance party at a private tower in Sector F-11 here on Wednesday night.
According to police, the detained suspects included girls and boys residing in different areas of the capital. An investigation against them has been launched.
OUTLAW INJURED, ARRESTED
Bahawalnagar: Police claimed to have arrested a suspect involved in 16 cases of heinous crimes after he was injured in the firing of his own accomplices during a shootout with police in City police jurisdiction.
The suspect has been identified as Azhar alias Mama. His two accomplices escaped. Weapons and plundered valuables were seized from him. A manhunt has been launched to arrest his accomplices.
DRUG PEDDLERS ARRESTED
Karachi: Three people – two of them women – have been nabbed in an operation carried out against drug peddlers in Bin Qasim Town police jurisdiction. The suspects have been identified as Perveen, Sonia and Murtaza. Further investigation was underway.
