Suicide jacket recovered from house in Lahore

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Investigation police on Wednesday recovered a suicide jacket from the house of an under-custody suspect in Ghaziabad.

CTD police were informed about the recovery of the explosive jacket. The CTD team was investigating from different angles to dig out the facts surrounding the jacket.

According to police, suspect Ansar alias Khan Baba was in police custody for injuring two policemen during a scuffle between two parties over a financial issue.

The accused was arrested on October 19. On Wednesday, police raided his house for the recovery of weapons. During the search, the law enforcers came by the jacket packed with explosives. Police registered second case against the accused. Further investigation was underway.
