Robber killed in Jaranwala police 'encounter'

JARANWALA (Dunya News) – Police claimed to have exterminated an alleged robber in an exchange of fire in Roadla police jurisdiction, Dunya News reported here on Sunday.
The suspected robber identified as Mujib Ali was being taken to an area for recovery when his accomplices ambushed the police party. On retaliation, the attacking bandits fled, but their firing killed the under custody outlaw.
Police claimed accused Mujib Ali was wanted in several cases of heinous crimes. Looted valuables and arms have been seized from the outlaw.
Having being informed, police high-ups reached the spot and formed teams to track down the fleeing robbers. The dead body was sent to hospital for medicolegal procedure.
