LAHORE (Dunya News) - A policeman was killed when unidentified gunmen opened fire at him in Chung area, Dunya News reported here on Saturday.
According to police, Head Constable Qurban Ali was on his way when unidentified attackers targeted him. He sustained injuries and was admitted to hospital, where he succumbed to injuries. The attackers escaped after the incident. Police have started investigation.
In Rawalpindi, four persons were injured when two groups traded fire over a land dispute. According to police, on Chak Bali Road, there was a land dispute between two groups.
On the day of the incident, they exchanged fire, wounding four people. Having being informed, police reached the crime scene and started investigation after shifting the injured to hospital. Raids were being conducted to arrest the fleeing suspects.
