Police suspect the girl was raped and murdered
KARACHI (Dunya News) - A 13-year-old girl was found hanged in a house in B-Karachi here on Thursday, Dunya News reported.
Police suspected that the girl was raped and murdered, and the perpetrators hanged her body from the roof of a room, giving an impression that the girl had committed suicide by hanging herself.
Police shifted the body to hospital for postmortem and started investigation.
The height of the ceiling of the room is very high and it is not possible that the girl could committed suicide by hanging herself, police claimed.
Police are collecting forensic evidence and recording statements of the family members of the girl.
