Law enforcers have launched a search operation to arrest the bandits
KARACHI (Dunya News) – A six-year-old girl received bullet injuries in an exchange of fire between two robbers and police in Buffer Zone area here on Monday, Dunya News reported.
The area police were informed that two robbers were looting cash and valuables from the passers-by after barricading a road.
The law enforcers rushed to the scene. To see the police party approaching them, the outlaws started firing by using sophisticated weapons.
Police retaliated in an effective manner and silenced their guns and forced them to flee.
After the encounter, police came to know that six-year-old girl was wounded by the bullet of the fleeing robbers.
Police have started investigation after sending the minor girl to hospital.
The law enforcers were collecting forensic evidence and CCTV camera footage to have a clue about the fleeing robbers.
Police have enhanced security and are patrolling the area to maintain law and order situation and control crime.
