MINCHINABAD (Dunya News) – Robbers shot at and injured a policeman and his son when they resisted their attempt to deprive them of cash and valuables in Daulatpur area here on Sunday, Dunya News reported.
Two burglars riding a motorbike stopped a policeman and his son with the intention of snatching valuables and cash from them.
When they put resistance, the outlaws wounded them and took away cash and valuables.
On information about the incident, law enforcers reached the crime scene and transported the injured to hospital.
Police cordoned off the area and started investigation. Police were collecting forensic evidence and recording statements from the people of the area.
A manhunt has been launched for the arrest of the fleeing robbers. The injured were stated to be out of danger.
