NOWSHERA VIRKAN (Dunya News) - A woman and her two sons were killed by their rivals in Gujranwala's Nowshera Virkan on Monday, police said.
The firing also left the woman's husband injured.
Unidentified gunmen stormed a house in Tatlay Aali and opened indiscriminate fire. On being alerted, Rescue 1122 ambulances and police rushed to the crime scene and shifted the dead and the injured to the state hospital. Police gathered necessary evidence from the crime scene.
Police suspected involvement of the victims' rivals.
The Punjab police chief took notice of the incident, sought detailed report from the city police chief and ordered swift action against the runaway suspects.
