Police ordered to investigate on priority
LAHORE (Dunya News) – A woman and her daughter were found murdered in their house in Itehad Park, Factory area police jurisdiction, police said here on Monday night.
The victims were identified as Shakeela, 55, (mother), and Alishba, 20, (daughter). The bodies were sent for postmortem.
Police on getting information reached the spot and recovered the two bodies lying in the second floor of the house, along with a sharp-edged murder weapon.
Police collected forensic evidence and recorded statement from nearby people to have a clue to the double murder.
Punjab IG Dr Usman Anwar took notice of the incident and ordered the police to investigate the matter on priority to administer justice to the bereaved family and punish those involved in gruesome murder.
