Police, rangers are jointly conducting operation to arrest killers
SUKKUR (Dunya News) – A search operation for the arrest of the murderers of journalist Jan Muhammad continued for the third day in katcha area here on Wednesday night.
Sukkur SSP Irfan Ali and Rangers’ wing commander inspected the area.
Speaking to the media on the occasion, SSP Irfan Ali said police and rangers were jointly conducting the search operation in Shahbelow and other katcha areas to track down the outlaws.
He said the entire area and its exit and entry points had been sealed.
Houses, boats and vehicles were being thoroughly searched, and identification of passersby, drivers and area people was being done, the SSP said, adding additional personnel of law-enforcement agencies had been deployed.
