KASUR (Dunya News) - A robber was arrested in injured condition during an alleged police encounter in Kasur district on Thursday.
Khadian police said an exchange of fire took place between the police and some suspects. A suspect, who was later identified as Latif, got injured in the exchange of fire. Taking benefit of darkness other suspects managed to flee from the crime scene.
Illegal weapons were also recovered from the possession of the accused. The police claimed that Latif was wanted in many cases.
Raids are being carried out to arrest the runaway suspects.
