The CTD have registered four cases against the arrested terrorists

Lahore (Web Desk) - The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) on Sunday arrested four alleged terrorists of banned outfits during operations in different areas of Punjab.

A CTD spokesman said 25 intelligence-Based Operations (IBOs) were conducted in different districts of the province to effectively deal with any untoward incident of terrorism, in which 25 suspected people were interrogated and four alleged terrorists were arrested.

The arrested terrorists including Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and Daesh members have been identified as Salman, Malik Israr, Sher Zaman, Abdul Khaliq and Sher Muhammad.

The spokesman further said explosives including 520 grams, one IED bomb, two rocket shells, seven booster shells RPG, four detonators, safety fuse wire six feet, two prima cards, one pistol, six bullets, 26 pamphlets, 30 stickers, mobile phones  and Rs24,340 have been recovered from the possession of the terrorists.

He said the police have registered cases against the arrested terrorists in Rawalpindi, Sargodha, Sahiwal, Dera Ghazi Khan and Gujranwala and shifted them to an undisclosed location.
