KARACHI (Dunya News) - Five people were killed during firing incidents in different areas of Karachi on Sunday.
According to details, unknown gunmen opened fire on a vehicle and killed two persons in Gulshan-e-Surjani area of the provincial capital. Whereas, a woman named Noreen Bibi was shot dead by her brother-in-law, Rafafat Ali, in Gulshan Ghazi area of Baldia Town. The family claims that the suspect is mentally unstable.
In another incident, a woman was killed by an accidental shot while cleaning a gun in DHA Phase 6 Khayaban-e-Hilal. The dead body was shifted to the Jinnah Hospital.
Furthermore, one person, who has been identified as Arsalan, was killed in firing during a wedding ceremony near in Malir 15 area. The main suspect Raza was arrested.
One person was seriously injured in firing near the power house in Gulistan-e-Johar Block 15 and also a citizen was injured in firing while resisting robbery in Orangi Town Gulshan Bihar.
On the other hand, the police took action and recovered weapons from the water pump area, but the suspects managed to escape.
