Another policeman was injured after robbers opened fire cops
GHOTKI (Dunya News) - Two policemen embraced martyrdom and another was injured after some robbers attack a police checkpost in Gambro area of Ghotki in the wee hours of Wednesday.
According to initial reports, more than 10 robbers opened fire on the police checkpost set up at Panch Meel area. The martyred policemen were identified as Ali Gohar and Ashok Kumar. The deceased belonged to Panu Aqil and Larkana. The injured policeman was identified as Aziz Meerani.
The dead and the injured were shifted to a nearby hospital.
According to the Sukkur DIG, a police team has been dispatched to track down the suspects.
