The operation against dacoits in Rahim Yar Khan’s Katcha continues for the ninth day
RAHIM YAR KHAN (Web Desk) - Operation against criminals in katcha area of south Punjab continued on Tuesday as law enforcers claimed dealing a blow to the gangs operating there.
A day earlier (Monday), police claimed to have arrested eight dacoits of a gang during the operation in Rahim Yar Khan. The operation against dacoits in the katcha area continues for the 10th consecutive day.
Police said the law enforcers continued to lay siege to the hideout of ringleader Kabil Sikhani and there was a fierce exchange of fire between police and the operatives of the gang.

The law-enforcement agencies have intensified operation in the katcha area of Punjab province. Police claim to have achieved substantial progress in the operation.
Sources said the latest armoured cars and 15 snipers from the army had been stationed in the area to achieve a strategic advantage over the enemy. According to the strategy, the snipers would attack the enemy from a distance and police forces would advance after that.
