Rangers arrest man accused of robbery in Karachi

Raids are being conducted to arrest other accomplices of the accused.
KARACHI (Dunya news) - The Rangers and the police claimed to have arrested the accused involved in robbery and banditry in a joint operation in the provincial capital Karachi.
According to the Rangers spokesperson, the accused Amjad took Rs6 lakh in a robbery incident at Taj Malik Shop in the town of Kati Pahari, and while escaping, shot and injured two passerby girls. The accused can be seen in the CCTV footage while fleeing.
Spokesman of Rangers said the accused had confessed to more than 200 cases of robbery in different areas and looting more than Rs5 million from citizens.
Moreover, raids are being conducted to arrest other accomplices of the accused.
