Ghastly murder of two brothers shakes Khanewal

KHANEWAL (Dunya News) – Two brothers belonging to Niazi tribe were murdered due to an old enmity in Khanewal district of Punjab. The suspects fled the scene.
According to Khanewal police, a disturbing incident of murder of two brothers in Chak number 32-10/R within jurisdiction of Kacha Khuu PS shook the whole area. The suspects fled the scene after killing both brothers.
The police said both the deceased were residents of the Chak number 30-10/R village and were identified as Aurangzaib and Parvez.
The suspects shot dead both brothers who were visiting the suspects’ village. Both the victims and the suspect belongs to Niazi tribe and were involved in years-old internal dispute.
DPO Rana Farooq said, police have collected forensic evidence and shifted dead-bodies to the DHQ hospital after taking them into custody. The DPO added, a special team under the supervision of DSP has been formulated to arrest the culprits of the incident, moreover, the police are raiding suspect’s probable havens to arrest them as soon as possible and bring them to justice.
