BAHAWALPUR (Dunya News) - Three robbers were killed in an alleged police encounter at Head Rajkan area in Bahawalpur on Wednesday.
The Bahawalpur district police officer said the robbers killed in the encounter had been identified as Haji Ahmed, Sadiq Hussain and Sohail Asghar. They belonged to Muzaffargarh district, he said, adding that three motorcycles, two pistols and one Kalashnikov had been recovered from them.
He further said the slain robbers had killed a young man, Sajid Ali, a few days ago in Head Rajkan area and they were also wanted by police in several cases of murders and robberies.
The DPO said the protection of life and property of people would be ensured at all costs.
