The vicious circle of violence continues in city of lights

KARACHI (Dunya News) – The provincial capital is engulfed in an unending circle of violence for a long time. Murders, robberies, extortion and other serious crimes have become a routine in Karachi where police arrest suspects off and on but the crime rates remain high. 

In the recent incident of violence in Karachi, a 35-year-old person was killed at Machhar Colony. Police said the incident seemed to be an outcome of personal enmity. However, they said investigation has begun and soon the culprits of this murder would be brought to justice.

In another incident, police have arrested three street criminals at Shah Latif Town. Police claimed to have recovered weapons, stolen mobile phones and two motorcycles from the suspects. Police have arrested the suspects during patrol near Malir stream in Quaidabad. 

The three arrested culprits were identified as Ijaz Ahmad, Sajjad and Ramis. According to the Malir SSP, a case has been registered against the suspects and investigation has been initiated to gather further proofs.
