ANF foils three attempts to smuggle narcotics abroad
LAHORE (Dunya News) – The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) claims to have seized narcotics of various types in three raids in different parts of the country.
Officials also arrested two persons. An ANF team recovered 2.5kg Ice concealed in balloons during a raid at a private courier company’s office in Karachi, while another team spotted 723grams Ice from a parcel in Islamabad.
In another action, ANF officials confiscated 390grams heroin from another parcel in Dina. The parcels carrying narcotics were being dispatched to Australia and London.
An ANF team checked a suspected truck near Muridke and recovered 56kg hash and 26kg opium.
