Police failure to arrest robbers incurs public ire
SWABI (Dunya News) – People on Monday protested over the Shewa Adda police failure to arrest robbers who had broken into a local’s residence a few days ago in Swabi.
A gang of robbers in police uniform entered a house and held up the family for three hours. They looted Rs1.5 million, 24 tola gold and mobile phones.
The Parmuli police registered a case but failed to arrest the suspects even after a couple of days of the incident.
Another robbery incident has been reported in Chota Lahore tehsil of Swabi. Robbers looted Rs18.5 million from the owner of a petrol pump and fled. The victim was taking the amount to deposit it with a bank and was robbed on the way. Police have failed to trace the suspects.
