SWABI (Dunya News) - A prominent cleric Mufti Sardar Ali has been injured in an attempt to assassinate.
According to the details, Musa son of Liaqat Ali had attacked Mufti Sardar Ali with a sharp knife in Manki. Mufti Sardar Ali was injured in the attack and was moved to a nearby hospital. While the attacker was caught by people and handed over to police.
The murderous attack was carried out in the Lahor police station area in Swabi. DPO Swabi took immediate notice of the incident and assigned local Police the task to arrest the attacker. Under the supervision of SDPO Lahor Iftikhar Ali, SHO Jawad Khan took immediate action and arrested the accused Musa son of Liaqat resident of Manki. A weapon has also been recovered from him.
Mufti Sardar Ali was immediately transferred to hospital for medical treatment while a case has been registered against the accused.
Mufti Sardar Ali stated in the FIR that the accused attacked me in response to his statement against heroin and ice.
