KHAIRPUR (Dunya News) – Security personnel on Wednesday have arrested prime suspect Safdar involved in an attempt to kidnap a female student in Khairpur.
The police officers told that search operation is underway to detain the other suspects and that a case has also been registered in this regard.
Earlier, Chief Justice of Sindh High Court (SHC) had taken notice of an attempt to kidnap a female student in Khairpur.
The court sought reply from Sukkur’s deputy inspector general of police (DIG) and other officials. The CJ also issued notices to Khairpur’s deputy commissioner and university registrar.
It is to be mentioned here that the student of Shah Abdul Latif University was tried to be abducted from bus near Ranipur.
