PFA Food Authority seizes large quantity of dead chicken meat
Lahore (Dunya News) - Punjab Food Authority (PFA) failed the attempts of supplying sick and dead chicken to the citizens on Tuesday.
Following the directions of Director General (DG) Food Authority, the officials of PFA seized 3,050 kilogram (kg) of sick and dead chicken meat which was secretly being supplied in the city.
Moreover, the team also caught a supplier of the dead chicken along with a huge quantity of substandard meat.
Warning the suppliers to deliever fresh and healthy chicken, DG Food Authority said that no compromise will be tolerated in case of any negligence.
He went on to advise that citizens must buy fresh rather than stored or slaughtered meat.
