Minar-e-Pakistan incident: Ninety-eight men discharged from case

LAHORE (Dunya News) - A Lahore sessions court has released 98 men, accused of harassing and assaulting a woman at Minar-e-Pakistan on Independence Day.

The released men were not identified in the identification parade held on September 1.

The additional session judge instructed the police to discharge the men from the case.

Earlier on Thursday, the court had issued identity parade report in the Minar-e-Pakistan incident.

According to the report, victim Ayesha Akram identified 6 out of 104 accused, Sheharyar, Mehran, Abid, Arsalan, Sajid and Iftikhar were identified.
