Ex-husband chops off woman's nose in Gojar Khan
Gojar Khan (Online): In Gojar Khan, a husband tortured his ex-wife and cut off her nose.
According to the details, 32-year-old Maryam Bibi from Mirpur, Azad Kashmir had come to her relative house in Gojar Khan’s village Dilmi where her ex- husband showed up with his friends.
A brawl took place between them after which, the man tortured her, chopped her nose and fled. The injured woman has been shifted to the hospital where her condition is said to be out of danger.
According to police statement, a case has been registered.
Taking note of a incident, CPO Rawalpindi Muhammad Ahsan Younis has directed SP Sadar to register case and arrest the accused immediately.
He said that violence, abuse and exploitation of women was intolerable and Rawalpindi police were following the policy of zero tolerance against the accused involved in such heinous crimes.
