Delivery boy injured in alleged firing of Khawaja Izhar's guards
Police officials said the guard involved in the shooting will be arrested soon.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – A food delivery boy was injured when the security guards of (MQM-P) MPA Khawaja Izharul Hassan allegedly opened fire in the Defence Badar Commercial area.
According to SSP South Zubair Nazir Sheikh, the incident took place after an altercation. He also said that the guards opened fire on the delivery guy after a heated argument.
The delivery guy told police that the security guards demanded for food and bitter words were exchanged after then. Police rushed to the spot after the incident and started investigation.
Later, the injured rider was shifted to the hospital and investigation has been started. Police is collecting CCTV footage from the surrounding area.
Meanwhile, the police officials say the guard involved in the shooting will be arrested soon.
