Mardan: Two injured in grenade attack over old enmity

MARDAN (Dunya News) - Two people including a watchman were injured in grenade attack on a petrol pump in Mardan over old enmity.

According to police, four accused hurled a hand grenade at a petrol pump in Jhande Bazaar which caused a loud explosion.

According to pump owner Naseem Khan, he has enmity with the accused Ghulam Hussain, Abdul Rasool, Isani Khan and Ashraf.

At the time of the incident, the accused hurled two grenades from which one grenade exploded with a loud blast and the other did not explode. As a result of the explosion, a pump guard and a vehicle conductor Waqif got injured.

The property was partially damaged, the rescue team transported the injured to a hospital where their condition was described as out of danger.

Police registered a case against 4 accused and formed teams to arrest them.
