BANNU (Dunya News) - Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) police in Bannu arrested three alleged terrorists wanted in a suicide attack which was carried out in Bannu in 2017.
According to the CTD, an operation was carried out on a tip-off in Bannu during which three terrorists wanted in a suicide attack were arrested. The provincial government had placed a reward of Rs 6 million for the arrest of terrorists. The accused were also wanted by the Bannu police in several other cases.
According to the CTD, the terrorists belong to a local group of the banned organization. The terrorists had plans to carry out terrorism and target killing on Eid-ul-Fitr.
