Karachi: Religious scholar Mufti Saleemullah injured in gun attack
KARACHI (Dunya News) - A religious scholar, Mufti Saleemullah got injured in a gun attack near Karachi’s Manghopir road MPR Colony.
According to details, two armed accused riding a motorcycle opened fire on Mufti Saleemullah’s vehicle after chasing it and severely injured him.
Police have started investigations into the incident with the help of CCTV footage. According to SSP West Sohai Aziz, the accused ambushed Mufti Saleemullah when he reached near the Madrassa.
Mufti Saleem s family and friends appealed to higher authorities for a transparent investigation into the incident.
According to the hospital administration, Mufti Saleemullah was brought to the hospital in critical condition. A bullet struck him in the arm.
