Lahore: Two robbers killed in police encounter
LAHORE (Dunya News) - Two dacoits were killed during an alleged police encounter in Lahore. Police shifted the bodies to the morgue.
According to details, dacoits were setting up roadblocks in Kahna area on the outskirts of Lahore. Meanwhile, police received a report. When Kahna police and CIA reached the spot, the accused opened fire on the police party. The policemen narrowly escaped the firing.
Police sources said that two dacoits were killed on the spot due to retaliatory firing of CIA Kahna police. Senior police officers reached the spot and inspected the scene. Police moved the bodies to the morgue and an investigation was launched.
Police said the dead robbers belonged to Kasur, identified as Waqas and Sufyan, both had a criminal record and were wanted.
